Chocolate Cream Sweater Top

Slightly cropped and slightly boat neck giving it a boxy look. Shoulder pads are placed toward the outer edge of the shoulder, just small ones. Deep cuffs are 6 inches in one by one rib while the lower edge is 2 3/4 inches deep. The trim around the neckline is single crochet to match the coordinating stripe below it.

Cast on 26 for sleeves on size 10 14 inch  needles. Sleeves are 19 inches before cap.

Cast on 55 stitches for both front and back. Make 15 to 16 inches from bottom hem, make armholes 7-8 inches deep with a slight set in shape of decrease 3 stitches at each armhole, and 3 stitches at sleeve cap, extend cap 5 inches after this.

Sew together shoulders, sleeve caps to shoulders, inside of sleeve-underarms-side of sweater. Crochet around neck edge to match stripes.

Back neck ends on brown stripe, front neck binds off on cream stripe, stripes are brown 5 inches and cream 3 inches on sleeve and body except at cuff where the cuff and lower edge are brown and the brown stripe is 3 inches immediately following.

This is size 6 to 8 boxy relaxed, or 10 to 12 fitted.
