X-Back Halter Sweater


This hand knit halter is teal with white criss cross straps in the back with a button close neckline that wraps the throat and fastens in the back.



The lurex piece is a skirt that works with it, silver lurex threads are enchanting with the white criss-cross back. Size 10 US standard knitting needles and an H crochet hook for the simple chain criss cross strap that ties in the center back.

The top is knit by creating a 2/3 waist ribbing with a folded over edge for the chain tie and a bib front shaped like a wide mouth funnel, add the under arm edges an extra tab is created on both sides for the back chain string to lace through two times, one time to run through the loop tabs and the bottom folded flaps and one time straight across the back as a bra would.
