Straw Purse
Chain 10, 2 sc in 2nd chain, sc next 7, 3 sc in last ch, go to other side and sc in next seven and then one sc in end stitch equalling 20 sc. Rnd 2 increase to 26 sc, rnd 3 increase to 32 sc, rnd 4-5 work even. Round six inc to 34 sc, rnd 7-15 sc in 34 st per row. Rnd 16 hdc to center (34 or 17 on each side) 7 stitches on each side, skip hdc in those 7 and finsish with hdc to end of each side, should be 5 st of hdc, sk 7 and then 5 st of hdc on each side. To skip stitches make a ch 7 over the edge. Rnd 18 sc across 17 on each side total 34 around. Rnd 18 SC. Edging use contrasting rafia color, (one skien or less), also crochet a daisy from a contrasting color (I used red but edge the opening with purple to match the bag and reinforce).
